Surface degredation
Reported via desktop in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 23:23, Sun 14 March 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 392006.
Hello, new report as I cant add to my previous complaint, you have closed it as resolved, I have added photo's as the surface is still breaking up an passing vehicles are still spitting up debris from the cracking surface, as I reported the road sweeper was useless and it needs sweeping again, the reason i'm back complaining again is a stone hit my living room window 3 days ago and I have had enough of being ignored and no action being taken by yrself!, this junction now needs resurfacing and not with the ridiculous red surface coating, you can see all over our highways wherever you use this red surface it breaks up the black tarmac underneath causing early damage!, as your department has not contacted Me personally as requested before I am now seeking legal help for compensation from yourselves with reference to personal and property damage. could someone contact Me personally to discuss please

We acknowledge your concerns and accept that the highway has deteriorated in condition. We have assessed the fault in accordance with our Highways Infrastructure Asset Management Plan and it does not require urgent action. If the fault deteriorates significantly please report this again to us. We have submitted a Forward Programme Brief for the red patching areas to be resurfaced but we are unable to confirm any timescales for when these works will take place. Thank you for reporting this matter.
