Potholes over 4cm along stretch of road

High Lane maybe only a minor road but it is one of the routes in and out of our village. The whole length of road has deteriorated rapidly since the major road works in Horncastle at the traffic lights saw detours in place for several weeks. Local residents began to use High Lane as a short cut/ cut through which saw a significant increase in traffic along a single track road. Not only do we have large potholes but the sides of the road have crumbled where motorists have mounted the verge to avoid the potholes causing yet more damage to the road surface. When you inspect the road surface begin at the junction of High Lane with the B1183 and travel towards the village of Mareham on the Hill. I have taken many more photos of the road surface along the length but can only upload three which does not give an accurate depiction of the state of the road surface. I don’t want to inundate this reporting tool with more reports to upload the photos so would appreciate an early response.
