No through road sign too small
Reported via desktop in the Sign (unlit) category anonymously at 20:27, Thu 25 March 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 393167.
Many cars are not seeing the no through road sign at the Lincoln hotel end of East Bight. They then drive up East Bight as far as the bollards. They then have to reverse all the way back down the VERY narrow lane and many damage their cars on the walls The no through road sign needs to be much easier to see to prevent these cars travelling up East Bight.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because the site has been attended and there are dead end signs on both sides of the entrance to Eastgate which is sufficient as they can be seen as you enter the road. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action

Thank you for your update. I would like to point out that it is not the entrance to Eastgate that is the problem. It is the very small signs at the entrance to East Bight off Eastgate that is causing the issue

You have on file the evidence of what happens outside my house at No61 Rasen Lane. Regular flooding on heavy rain. Reported many times. Action - none. So with the photos provided we can all tell what happens in the next rain storm. All the debris in the gutters will be washed down to the one and only drain outside my house. It will be blocked in a single downpour. The necessity for regular cleaning of same is obvious. But the gutters are not cleaned regularly in fact I don’t think they’ve been swept this year at all. I do appreciate the financial constraints for all. But with this level of neglect it can only lead to more costly intervention later and the certainty of floods outside my house.
