During periods of heavy or prolonged rain once the road gulleys are full excess rain water overflows onto the driveway of number 5 and floods it and the property garages causing damage to the driveway, the garages and their contents. This is not an isolated incident and immediate action is needed to clear drains on both sides of road at this point.

Still no response as of 12 April and as can be seen from the latest photos taken today there are at least 3 road drains in Love Lane opposite number 5 and the churchyard that are blocked by leaves and debris. This needs attention before we next have any heavy or prolonged rain.

Correction it does not take heavy rainfall as on the morning of 16th April a short period of rain caused the blocked road drains in Love Lane to overun the gulley and flood my driveway and garage. See attached photos.

Latest pictures on the 8th May as the road drain outside our house overflows yet again, an update on when the scheduled clearance of the drains will happen would be appreciated.

Both on the 16th and 17th May rain showers caused flooding on both sides of Love Lane opposite number 5, as can be seen from one of the photos due to parked cars by the church there is only room for single lane traffic and the pavement became a soak hazard zone!

The problem has not been resolved as can be seen from the latest pictures! The council drain clearing wagon attended on the 30th May and today 18th June the first time it rains the drain is blocked again!
