Pavement crumbling away
Reported via mobile in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 19:31, Wednesday 7 April 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 394146.
The pavements are crumbling away rapidly. I did report the same problem last year and they are now getting worse. Elderly neighbours are now moaning that it is slippery due to the loose gravel, and difficult to push wheel chairs or push chairs along that part of the pavements.
Thank you for your report. We will investigate and make an update to this report within 14 days.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because these footways have already been assessed for inclusion in future maintenance/reconstruction work programs should funding and priorities permit. It is recognised that the slurry surface is failing in areas but we are afraid that we cannot say when these works are likely to take place at this time. The sunken Anglian Water apparatus outside number 7 will be reported to them for action in due course but no immediate action is required elsewhere currently. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action
