Poor quality ‘repair’ work to pavements

You are currently using contractors to carry out ‘repairs to the pavements around Donington. Are you aware of the poor quality of this work carried out in the last few weeks?The example attached, with no proper finish or seal, badly compacted, will not last a cold winter without frost damage. The surface is very uneven, using coarse gauge road stone, and represents various trip hazards, creates difficulty in traversing with prams or buggies, and quite frankly has made the footpaths a complete mess. This is just a sample of the state of the paths around the whole village. They were in better condition BEFORE these improvements took place, and require prompt remedial action
