Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 396039.
This pothole has been here for months and no doubt caused damage to multiple peoples vehicles, it has also been reported multiple times and the issue has still not been fixed. If the issue would of been attended to when other people had made the reports about this pothole then this would not of happened. I drove through this area last week on the 29/04/2021 and hit the pothole with my passenger side front tyre and it caused a flat tyre which left me stranded at the side of the road for an hour, 40 minutes from my home. I had to pay £125 just to get my car towed from Winters Lane, Long Sutton, Spalding to Gayton, King’s Lynn by Tears Recovery and also pay £44 for a new tyre and I have been without a car for over a week, I have also got to pay for the tyre to be fitted and possibly a new alloy which I will find out this week. The pothole is between 82-84 Station Road, Tydd Gote, Wisbech, PE13 5RD. Latitude 52.7390 Longitude 0.1559. Due to losing my job to covid I am currently on Universal Credit so I can not afford to pay for the damages caused or for the towing fee especially when I am not at fault and have my bills to pay for. I have currently had to borrow money off of a family member just so I could get me and my car home without having to leave it at the side of the road but this will need to be paid back to them as soon as possible. I can provide proof of all the costs that have occurred also. I would really like to be reimbursed as it has put me into financial struggle and has inconvenienced my greatly.
