30 repeater signs used illegally at road works

Reported via desktop in the Problem at LCC roadworks category anonymously at 15:41, Saturday 8 May 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 396157.

Due to the road works at Holdingham roundabout the speed limit has been reduced to 30 mph in the works area & approaches. However the roundabout and approach roads are all lit. This means that by law it is unlawful and illegal to have 30 repeater signs except in the case of the sign being shown with a speed camera symbol. Currently the roundabout and other lit approach roads are littered with these 30 repeaters, all of which are illegal. Please could the unlawful signage be removed, or implement a speed limit other than 30.
