Investigating
Overgrown hedge
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction on pavement/verge category anonymously at 17:39, Fri 21 May 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 397101.
The hedge outside 47 Old Main Road has been left to grow out onto the pavement, with minor trims every now and then. It needs a complete cut back to the trunks. You used to be able to walk side by side, now it's even difficult to get past with a pushchair.

This is still a problem and the hedge has grown since the problem was reported on 21st May, if people have a pram, mobility scooter, even walking now, they have to go on the road because unable to use the path.

This hedge has been trimmed back to facilitate pedestrians. A complete and full revision of the hedge is booked for the autumn after the nesting season provisions will allow a more deep cutting.
