New full full face kerb at crossing point

Reported via mobile in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 18:35, Sunday 23 May 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 397215.

New paths have been created without any provision for lowered crossing points. Are highways going to have this rectified or are you ignoring the counties specifications and ignoring the needs of elderly, infirm, wheelchair users etc of Spalding?

  • I am not referring to any new construction on private land, I am referring to alteration of the existing highway under the control and responsibility for correct upkeep and construction by Lincolnshire County Council Highways. If the main footpath area I have shown you is not currently part of the highway network please advise this, however, any planning application involving works that involve highways responsibility would be passed by Shdc back to yourself and you have total responsibility in the highways under the highways act. please pass to a more senior officer to investigate the works carried out to the highways footpath that do not comply with highways specifications

  • This issue has not been resolved, highways need to take responsibility instead of ignore
