Overgrown thorn bush scratching passing vehicles' paintwork
Reported via desktop in the Overgrown tree/hedges category anonymously at 00:00, Fri 28 May 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 397599.
This overgrown thorn bush protects significantly into the narrow road at a point where queueing traffic heading south means that to head north after crossing the level crossing involves driving as close as possible to the solitary bush without scratching the vehicle in the process. Unfortunately this is impossible as the road is barely enough to allow two cars to pass, so you end up scratching your bodywork. Again.
Please remove this bush altogether!

Currently our resources are such that we have to restrict our efforts to dealing with encroachments that are considered a significant danger or nuisance to users of the highway. In this instance we do not intend to take any immediate action, however we will continue to monitor the site as part of our routine inspections of the highway and will review the situation as necessary. Thank you for reporting this matter.
