Very dangerous junction
Reported via desktop in the Visibility at junction or bend category anonymously at 08:53, Friday 4 June 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 398034.
Visibility when pulling out onto the B1397 (Clough road/High fen road) from Beck Bank is severely obstructed by trees. This section of road is high speed carriageway and it is necessary to pull out into the westbound lane to try to view what is coming, there is zero sight stopping distance at this junction and I am very concerned it will only be a matter of time before there is a very serious RTC
Thank you for your report. We will investigate and make an update to this report within 14 days.

Junction remains dangerous visibility still poor with over grown bushes and grass verges, the speed limit should also be reviewed for safety of residents of primitive gate and those living on Beck Bank
Why this area is national speed limit and the road in Risegate is 40 mph does not add up, the speed restrictions on Clough Road adjacent to primitive gate and Beck Bank should be 30 mph, our properties are closer to the road, we have no path and some drivers use both roads as a race track.
We have had 2 incidents at the junction in the last week with near misses.
