• Two of your colleagues came yesterday and couldn’t get the drain cover off to do anything - they failed to remove it or unblock it and said they would report it.

  I know works are scheduled but now it’s dry you can see this drain is full to the top of solid mud….it will never drain the surface water. Please can you update when work is likely to take place - hopefully before it floods our drive again and again!

• Hi

  I last reported this existing issue in July 2021 with still no update and it hasn’t been resolved. This has been going on now since 2019!

  Now the bad weather is coming our drive will be flooded again every time it rains.

  When it damages the wall and the pointing where the water sits and the electrics where the lights are on the gate posts I’ll send you the bill.

  I can’t believe that unblocking a drain could take 2 years.

• Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
