14m high overgrown trees
Reported via iOS in the Overgrown tree/hedges category anonymously at 11:47, Monday 7 June 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 398219.
These very large row of trees (approx 12-14m high) at the bottom of my garden haven’t been touched by anyone since I moved in to the brand new house in 2005 (16 years ago). The building companies of Tiber road and Minerva way did not dress them. They are now considerably overhanging my garden (Tiber road side). They encroach approximately 6-7m into my garden. I am constantly picking up debris (branches daily) and roughly 6 full garden bins yearly in leaves that I have to pay for - the garden bin is an extra cost to me. My concerns are now that there is a lot of movement in them when it is windy and I have two young kids and am concerned either they or myself or guests will be injured or my property (cars and garage) will be damaged. I don’t want to see the trees cut down as they are good for wildlife but the trees definitely need a good “haircut”.
