Reported via desktop in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 11:42, Tue 8 June 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 398297.
Reported the last three years. Residents have to spread sand to stop the tar from entering driveways etc. This really needs fixing now please.

Thank you for reporting this matter. We are sorry but we will not be taking any further action at this location. We accept that the condition of the carriageway has deteriorated. The remedial work that would have been carried out would have been sand to ensure adequate skid resistance is retained at the site, as this has already taken place we will not be re-visiting. The location will however be monitored in line with our Highways Infrastructure Asset Management Plan, and any suitable works orders raised as required. Thank you for reporting this matter.

Thank you for your response however we have to lay sand frequently throughout the summer at our expense. Would you please arrange for a supply of sand so that we do not have to buy it. Alternatively we can continue to provide the sand but will deduct the cost from the Council Tax due. Thank you.
