Overgrown grass verges
Reported via desktop in the Visibility at junction or bend category anonymously at 21:49, Wednesday 9 June 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 398441.
The grass verges are very overgrown on the Horncastle Road side of Rawsons Bridge. When coming off the bridge from Pilleys Lane it is very difficult to see vehicle approaching on the main road. This is a crossroads which is difficult in itself to cross. It may be okay for larger vehicles but for small cars it is very hard to see. It's also hard to see, when approaching the bridge from Pilleys lane, whether there are vehicles about to enter the bridge from the main road.
Thank you for your report. We will investigate and make an update to this report within 14 days.

This fault will be fixed as part of our next cycle of works. We cut the grass three times a year and treat weeds twice a year between April and October.
State changed to: No further action
