Illuminated keep left bollard on a raised island
Reported via desktop in the Bollards (lit) category anonymously at 15:39, Fri 11 June 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 398555.
The bollard has been forcibly removed and left on the A17 near Low Gate. The island is causing problems as people are either ignoring it and turning in to the access road to the A17 on the wrong side of it or they are driving over it and there is potential for damage to a car as the island is not clearly marked.

This junction has been closed both ways and traffic diverted on Friday morning 22/10/2021. We called about problem and was informed that work would be completed that day. The junction is still closed and no work to reopen has taken place. We run a busy Garden centre & tearoom on this road, and customers are now exiting directly on to A17 from our entrance gate which is signed as no exit, to short cut out. Other local traffic in cutting through our premises to avoid closed junction. This is causing major problems to A17 road users and possible endangering collisions. Urgent attention is needed to complete work or reopen junction for access off the A17.
