Large gap up to 12” wide causing dangerous road surface and flooding
Reported via mobile in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 15:23, Mon 14 June 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 398702.
There is a stretch about 8-10 metres long and up to 12 inches wide where two lots of tarmac join which has worn away. It is in direct line with the line of vehicle wheels, cyclists and motorcyclists and poses a danger to vehicles hitting it. Furthermore when it rains, the water gathers there and vehicles send water over several metres, hitting the bus stop on the roadside. This means that passengers waiting for a bus get soaked or have to stand elsewhere in the rain, posing a further risk to themselves and traffic. This bus stop is primarily used by school children and the elderly and the risk to them and their health is unacceptable.
