New road top surface failing and lifting off
Reported via mobile in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 11:07, Sat 19 June 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 399095.
The new microchipping top surface pasted into Curlew Way and Thrush Close, Sleaford just two months ago is already failing as it was laid during heavy rain. Lumps of top surface are lifting off and leaving potholes which are going to quickly develop and get worse. This was a very poorly executed job that left the road in a poorer state than before the work was done, with lumps of top dressing left stuck to the road in other places. It is uneven and prone to pooling rainwater rather than allowing to drain away.
