Spray painted road markings

Sent to East Lindsey District Council and Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 399258.

Number 10 St Mary's Lane has a drop kerb outside it which obviously signifies no parking however they have now spray painted a white no parking line across the front of their house using what can only be described as a spray paint can from a shop.

It is a public highway

  • Currently our resources are such that we have to restrict our efforts to dealing with encroachments that are considered a significant danger or nuisance to users of the highway. In this instance we do not intend to take any immediate action, however we will continue to monitor the site as part of our routine inspections of the highway and will review the situation as necessary. Thank you for reporting this matter.
