Loose chippings 2 months after surface dressing

My windscreen was chipped and cracked on Sat 19 June whilst parked on my driveway by chippings kicked up by passing traffic. 2 months is more than enough time to sort. Now I shall be filing a claim for damage as I will be out of pocket over £350 due to Council negligence.

    Congratulations. Our perfectly good road is now completely messed up. Instead of sweeping up the loose chippings, YOUR CREW HAVE ADDED MORE!!!!! What is going on at the Council????? Please sort this road or there will be MORE damage to MORE vehicles!!
