  • I would like to report a dangerous and illegal driveway at 28 Boswell Drive, Lincoln. LN6 7LD. Sadly this illegal driveway is very dangerous, there is no visibility for the driver or pedestrians due to 12 foot high conifers, it’s very close to a junction and the driver has to reverse out in a large van with no visibility. I would like this matter investigated to prevent loss of life/injury to pedestrians, Children, pets, disabled people, car drivers and passengers. Pedestrians are walking round a blind spot not knowing the dangers of a very large van reversing blindly onto a public pathway and a road very close to the junction. This driveway was illegally constructed 2 years ago! Now a very large van is parking on this drive. I fear a serious injury or death will occur. You will see by the pictures how this van reverses blindly onto the public pathway and where the lamp post is children, pensions, pets often are running round the corner, imagine a young child suffering a death/injury from this illegal driveway. I’ve witnessed young children riding in front of their parents on their little scooters and cycles, they would stand no chance against this large vehicle. I’m hoping this can be stopped as the new driveway is not fit for purpose as it’s not a permitted driveway! At least the conifers should be chopped to a sensible level where the driver could maybe see cars, pedestrians? Although there is a proper car park for these houses which does have proper visibility.
