Very dangerous overhanging tree branches all along Quebec Road
Reported via mobile in the Overgrown tree/hedges category anonymously at 18:09, Tue 22 June 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 399449.
From Seaview car park to the Seal sanctuary in Quebec Road the large Poplar trees are dangerously overhanging the road. Every time a large lorry or double-decker bus goes along the road branches snap off causing a traffic hazard, especially when the trees are wet or in windy weather. These trees need to be cut right back away from the busy road.

These trees are not on the publicly maintainable highway. To find the owner of the land you could contact Land Registry at https://www.gov.uk/ government/ organisations/ land-registry Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: not the council's responsibility

It is not my job as a member of the public reporting a road hazard to pay the land registry to search for a landowner! As I said these trees are overhanging the road by a large amount and need to be cut back to prevent a serious injury to motorists or pedestrians. The landowner is irrelevant as they are overhanging the public highway.

This photo shows how far the trees are now overhanging the road. The road is used by double decker buses every half hour and is a danger to motorists and pedestrians
