Drainage problem

Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 13:23, Friday 25 June 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 400035.

On Sadler Road at corner near Spaldings, the road floods after a small amount of rain. The drainage issue only appears to have started after the recent roadworks in the area, so the drains could be blocked with rubble

  • We are sorry that we are not taking immediate action with this report. Our records show that the drains in this area were cleaned in November 2020 and the gullies do not appear blocked, they have water in but not up to the outlet. The channel blocks could have a slight level difference contributing to some minor ponding noticed in site, but this can wait until the next cyclic clean, unless the situation worsens in the meantime. We will try to reinspect in wet weather to monitor. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
