Uneven surface due to inadequate repair

Reported via desktop in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 01:40, Sun 4 July 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 400692.

This was reported many months ago and apparently a temporary fix was carried out, which is actually laughable to describe this as such. So, the pavement continues to move due to tree roots and it is still a trip hazard for anyone walking along this pavement. So, are you waiting for a compensation claim before you are willing to repair the problem properly? I care for a 93 year old lady who lives with this outside her door. Expect a huge outlay if anything happens to her because of your ineptitude and total disregard of local concerns.

  • Absolutely pathetic. Try understanding that Lincoln is not the be all and end all. You are supposed to be LINCOLNSHIRE County Council not the "We'll only complete repairs if it's within Lincoln City council" Nice you have a bypass, try fixing the roads in Skegness so they are at least drivable. Obviously no one in your department actually visits the coast otherwise you would not take this nonchalant attitude to local concerns. What a disgraceful attitude you have. No idea how you all mange to keep your jobs. Can't wait until all the compensation claims come in as no doubt you will start to take the matter seriously then.
