Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 400080.
The Continuous damage to the road surface and the formation of potholes is an ongoing problem for Prince's Street and particulalry the section betwen Orchard Close/Hall Yard and the Village Cross. This section contains damaged and sunken areas where poor repair has occured following old utility lines. The state of Prince's Street is a disgrace and appears yet again to have been ignored for correct maintenace and proper resurfacing despite being a main thoroughfare for the village and in the Metheringham Conservation Area. Designation of an area to be conserved is meaningless unless it is conserved. Sunken areas of the road surface result in standing water thius producing dramatic water spray covering any pedestrians in the vicinity of this section of the road.
