2 Drain covers very noisy

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 400372.

As previously reported on Ref. 398452. outside Strathmore House & 15 mars south. 2 drain covers are loose within the frames rattling each time a vehicle passes over causing environmental issue. The frames are distorted and therefore the lids move both sideways and up and down each time a vehicle passes over. This is the second time i have reported this. the previous investigation conclusion described that no issue was found, "Impossible" if investigated thoroughly.

  • The problem is not fixed as per your update. One drain cover has been replaced. The other which is 15 meters south of Strathmore House has a temporary bollard adjacent to the lid and requires fixing permanently. An update on an estimated completion time for the works would be appreciated.

  • Under Ref numbers 398394 &398452 only one of these two loose and noisey drain covers has been fixed. On the remaining one you did a "temporary repair" and stated you would return to do a permanent fix. This has still not been done and the noise is getting louder as traffic pass over the drain lid . The lid also appears to be sinking. Would you please implement a permanent fix to this annoying problem.
