Water running from road to our property
Reported via desktop in the Flooding category anonymously at 10:26, Fri 2 July 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 400611.
Due to there being no drop kerb or kerb edging to the front of our property combined with no storm drainage to Holme Road, during persistent or heavy rain, our property is trying to absorb all the highway water, as well as our own, our property is on private soak away, so isnt designed to take highways water swell as our own. The camber of the road results in all the highway surface water flooding into our drive, garage and up to our front door, as per the attached photographs. We also have a video of the water flooding but it would not let us upload it to this system. Due to there being no road delineation and this road being used by agricultural traffic, unfortunately the road and our drive way is also being used by heavy vehicles as a passing place which is deteriorating the road and is becoming dangerous, with numerous potholes and debris.
