The public footpath on the east side of Louth canal from Fulstow bridge north towards tetney lock especially after thoresby Bridge for about 500 yards over growing vegetation including common hogweed which can give serious burns to skin if the sap of this comes into contact with you. Google common hogweed to see pictures of the burns you can receive.
