Flooding at crossing

Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 16:35, Thu 8 July 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 401072.

There is an ongoing problem with water at Sleaford Road traffic lights, near Woodville Road playing field. It is not a leak, it is the rain water. It has never been right since the crossing was upgraded several months ago. People with prams, wheelchairs etc have to avoid the dropped kerb and you cannot just step over the water, it is too wide. Lorries also splash the water up the path so you have to be aware or get wet. I have enclosed a photo to highlight the problem. The lady with the dog went round the end of the railings, but the people on the path had to keep away from the dropped kerb, or get wet. Many Thanks John Gray.
