Overhanging trees on highway
Reported via mobile in the Overgrown tree/hedges category by Andrew Jackson Quadring Parish councillor at 17:33, Thu 8 July 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 401073.
Had a number of HGV drivers complain to me about trees from Sandy gate - Quadring bank along town drove at this location.
Number of branches have been snapped and can clearly see where HGVs have been hitting the branches.
These were lightly trimmed last year if highways are goin to be doin this yearly maybe a deeper trim is needed.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because the site has been inspected and there is some overhang, however these are minor branches/twigs and would not interfere with what we consider would be normal use of a minor rural road. We will continue to monitor on routine inspections. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action
