Weeds in gutter.
Reported via mobile in the Weed spraying category anonymously at 13:32, Fri 9 July 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 401132.
Weeds in gutter are either dead or have not died, not removed and are a serious trip hazard. I jog regularly and have fallen three times on council footpaths, once on weeds in this road gutter whilst crossing the road. I have a pacemaker and fell onto it when I fell. This fall required the device to be monitored for 4 weeks to ensure correct functionality. These weeds require individual treatment. A quad bike delivering weedkiller onto such weeds and a mechanical roadsweeper are inadequate. I paid £167 last month in Council Tax which should be sufficient along with other householders payments to ensure we are not exposed to health risks by a Skegness inadequate Council service. Please find an alternative and improved way to deal with this issue.

The rough ground on the side of the path is full of high thick brambles, they extend over the path, making it difficult to walk, and even more difficult for mobility scooters, they have not been cut back for years, who do they belong to. I have asked the council and the railway, but both deny ownership. Is it Tesco?. Elizabeth.

Lincolnshire County Council carry out weed treatment 2 times per year however we do not remove dead/dying weeds. If this is causing an issue you should contact East Lindsey District Council to request the area be swept as they are responsible for street cleansing.
