Loose chippings not covering tar

Reported via desktop in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 16:15, Friday 16 July 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 401566.

A crew has been filling in potholes down our road over the last few days. However, tar has been spilt on footpaths and areas of the road where there are no holes and has not been clean up, or even covered by stones to try and prevent people stepping in it and taking tar into cars, houses, etc and ruining flooring or harming animals feet if they stand in it either.

  • Thank you for reporting this issue and we would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. The jetpatching technique is not perfect as it can cause some mess afterwards but it is an effective way of making repairs to a larger area however we will be speaking to our contractor about sweeping an area following the process. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
