Road dipping and potholes too many to photo or report individually
Reported via desktop in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 08:00, Thu 22 July 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 401877.
The Hobhole bank between the Bennington Bridge and Forty Foot Lane is abysmal. The road has fallen into disrepair with humps and dips all the way along and pot holes too numerous to mention. At one point the only way to traverse the hobhole is to reduce speed to 5mph or to travel on the other side of the road. There are pot holes and dips/humps on both sides of the road and a resurface of the road is desperately needed. This road has been appalling since i moved in 15 years ago and is getting worse. The highways authority practice of carrying out temporary repairs is not suitable and frankly a waste of time. You have repaired Horbling Lane into Stickney, how about you do the same to the Hobhole Bank and then restrict traffic to anything under 7.5 tonne? Then again, this wont happen as its not close enough to Lincoln or until someone loses their life!
