Constant flooding of road and property
Reported via desktop in the Flooding category anonymously at 12:46, Tue 27 July 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 402189.
This issue HAS NOT been fixed by cleaning out the hollow curb drains outside number 23 and 25 Roman Bank. The surface road water hsa no where to go except down the driveways of both said properties and pooling on the road. This has been ongoing for at least 3 years and needs to be sorted.

I have two problems. Firstly reference No 405218 - footpath outside of 36 Roman Bank. I was advised that the problem had been fixed last year. Unfortunately, this is only a temporary repair which had just been filled with tarmac. This new repair is again starting to open and crack but this time needs to be carried out properly with all edges sealed so that water does not get underneath and open the repair up. As stated I am a wheelchair user and shoddy repairs like this on public footpaths do not make life easy. The second report is the numerous potholes in Engine Dyke and the road leading to Gedney Roundabout. The potholes are horrendous at the top of Engine Dyke covering all parts of the road surface. The edges of the road now have extremely large potholes and after being forced onto the edge twice last week it was very scary. To add fuel to the matter some of the deep potholes were full with water after heavy rain and this made it worse as potholes could not been seen. All the roads in this area are in an extremely bad state of repair. I know that you are £12m less from Government for repair of roads and potholes but none of the roads around this area have been touched in years and when they are the repair is so shoddy and slapdash it does not last more than a couple of days. Get this items sorted out now what do we pay our Council Tax for when our village roads are left in a very poor state of repair.
