  • I reported this issue some months ago after seeing pedestrians having to walk in the busy A16 roadway which is dangerous. The reply from LCC was that it was not their hawthorn hedge, even though it was blocking their pavement. Whilst I told them I believed it was D S Smith packing hedge, they told me it was down to me to find the owner. I sent a message to D S Smith but they did not bother to reply. However the pavement is LCC's responsibility and they should cut the hedge back or chase D S Smith.
