  • Good afternoon. I was just wondering if you could tell me when the works are scheduled for please as this issue just keeps getting worse by the minute with the flow of traffic now coming the the Manor Farm estate on Tiber Road. We literally cannot sleep at night due to the 'clanging' of these loose drain covers right outside our house. I even had to park my car on the road over the drain covers for one night so we could try and get some sleep however my car being on the road and not on the driveway causes further issues on Tiber Road as it is just ridiculous at the minute with traffic all through the night as well as the day. Please, please please can somebody please give us a idea when this is going to be fixed or we might have to think about checking into a hotel at this rate just to try and get some sleep. Even the children are going to school half asleep everyday at the minute which isn't ideal at all. Regards, James Melbourne.

  • This issue has still not been fixed. How long does it take to replace a drain cover with a new one that doesn’t make a loud rattling noise every time a car passes over it. It is so loud all day and night it is not a joke anymore. Maybe cancelling my council tax direct debit might make something happen, other than that I will hire somebody with an angle grinder to come and fix it in 5mins 🤬
