Flooding of pavement
Reported via iOS in the Flooding category anonymously at 20:48, Tue 3 August 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 402644.
This section of the pavement constantly floods and water sits here for many hours after rainfall which then leaves the pathway very muddy and slippery. I witnessed an elderly gentleman, slip and nearly fall on the wet area

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. An officer has inspected the location and whilst there is evidence that lifting the rear of the vehicle crossing within the highway to a level higher than the roadside kerbtop may mitigate this minor ponding issue, the majority of the flooding is caused by the levels of the private driveway adjacent to the highway which would also require reprofiling. We are afraid work to mitigate this issue is not a priority for the Council at this time. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action
