Poor road surface condition along Outer Circle Drive

The road surface along the length of Outer Circle Drive between Nettleham Road and Bunkers Hill is severely degraded and needs the consideration of resurfacing the road. This stretch has been increasingly getting worse and needs the consideration of works to be planned and put forward to repair the road.

We acknowledge your concerns and accept that the highway has deteriorated in condition. We have assessed the fault in accordance with our Highways Infrastructure Asset Management Plan and it does not require urgent action. If the fault deteriorates significantly please report this again to us. Thank you for reporting this matter.

Thank you for your response however I would not deem this report as 'no further action' as the road is not in an acceptable state. The road is in a condition that requires repair and although this may not require 'urgent action', it does need to be put forward in a planned programme of works which your 'Highways Infrastructure Asset Management Plan' defines as a 'Category 2' defect. Please escalate this defect and update this report once you have these works planned.
