Overgrown hedge is obstructing the pavement on the west side of the A16 between Northfield and Fairfield roundabouts.

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction on pavement/verge category by Jeremy Hill at 19:43, Wed 4 August 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 402702.

The hedge is so overgrown that pedestrians have to step into the road to avoid the overhanging branches. (Not recommended on this busy road) I believe the hedge is on the land occupied by the company D S Smith.

  • This is a very serious risk to pedestrians, it is impossible now to use this footpath due to the overgrown hedge. It is equally difficult to walk on the opposite side of the road which is just a very rough and uneven grass verge. So there is no safe route for pedestrians along this very busy road. SO LCC SURELY HAVE A DUTY TO PROVIDE ONE!!!!
