Over grown hedge.

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 403170.

The two cottages next to the police station one of them-has a very over grown hedge witch is taking up a large Chunk of the pavement and also seen a rat not sure who to tell.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because this is a private hedge however we have asked the property residents to do a cut back hard at least 3/4 metre of the hedge. Thank you for reporting this matter.

  • I would like to report an overgrown hedge at 18 Ropery Road Gainsborough. The hedge looks out onto the main road and the traffic that turns into Gladstone Street cannot see anyone crossing the road (just round the corner on Gladstone Street) As a result I nearly got run over last week as the car could not see me as he was approaching to turn right onto Gladstone Street. I believe 18 Ropery Road has rooms rented out but the landlord does not appear to be maintaining the outside of the property. If this had been an elderly person crossing the road that day - they would have been hit for sure.
