We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. An officer visited the site recently and there were weeds present in the strip of highway outside Claremont. This strip is not a 'constructed' footway and is shown on our records as verge hence it would not be included in our routine treatment which is purely for paved surfaces. However as this area appears to have been gravelled at some point and is therefore no longer verge it will be treated as soon as we can access it safely given that it is currently within a site managed by temporary traffic lights. It will also be added into the two treatments per year going forward. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action

This is not a good picture as the whole length of our house is affected . Some of the weeds are as high as the brick wall and it looks neglected. There are no lights there anymore so would appreciate the weeds cleared asap

Also how wide should a “footpath” be ! In places it measures 23inches from kerb to wall surely this is too narrow and dangerous with the heavy lorries going pass !!
