Substandard road leading to tourist attraction following major bank raising works.

Reported via desktop in the Road surface issue category by Margaret Ordway at 12:33, Sat 4 September 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 404458.

From the entrance to The Sewage works & Bank House all the way to the Pilgrim Fathers Memorial car park the Scalp Road is in car damaging condition. It has various large pot holes plus several different sections of half collapsed road, making it fit only for 4wheel vehicles & farm machinery. It also needs a further passing place if possible. After heavy machinery wear due to the flood defence bank raising works this road now desperately needs a full review, not just a patch up. With a great new art insallation now in place near the car park it is tragic that visitors, twitchers & tourist are being deterred by the aweful road access.
