  • When this work is scheduled road cones will have to put along the road and signs saying no parking, the day before Otherwise most of the grates won’t get cleaned out and we are back to square one. Or if we the residents are informed of the date we can put our dustbins along Cross street the night before to prevent cars parking in the morning.

  • Hello The guys have just been in cross street, they cleaned the drain outside my cottage, the other three were not cleaned because of parked cars ! These grates are full with mud and leaves, so when it rains all the water will still be going down the grate outside my cottage. This drain can’t cope as it’s the lowest part of the village and floods in heavy rain into my yard and last five almost into my property. I just dispair!! The roads needs closing off the day before to enable the grated to be cleaned. You are putting my cottage and possessions at risk Please help

  • This was yesterday!!!! Does not look complete to me The drain outside my cottage was the only one trying to cope, I spent an hour sweeping and plunging it, to stop the water going into My yard. Sand bags out again ! It’s just not good eno
