Drains completed blocked
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 17:27, Wed 15 September 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 405257.
The kerb that these drains are in is completely overgrown blocking the drains. I have taken photos of 3 of the blocked drains but can not tell if there is anymore. We have had residents complaining in Knaith as during the harsher months flooding is occurring down Knaith Hill and causing damp to certain properties. Please can this be a prioritised, before we receive any bad weather and to help alleviate the damp problem to residents.

Thank you for clearing the grass/weeds away from the drains. Unfortunately as you can see from the pictures, the drains are still blocked with mud.

This corner is still flooded - certainly not fixed. The middle gully is completely submerged. A team has been out several times, but only cleared the silt from the 3 gulleys to a depth of a few inches - the pipe to the nearby ditch (600mm lower and 3m away) is still blocked so the corner floods. When temperatures are below zero , cars break the ice and spread water over the 90 degree bend - I regularly see cars in the ditches, verge and hedge here after the resulting hitting black ice. This is completely avoidable and needs to be properly fixed and quickly. thank you.

This issue HAS NOT been fixed. A member of Knaith Parish Council has just been and checked, 13:30 on 04/01/22 and the drains are still blocked. Please can this be looked into as a matter of urgency as this just keeps being changed to fixed when nothing has changed.
