Trees and hedges are overgrown and a road traffic hazard

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown tree/hedges category anonymously at 14:09, Mon 20 September 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 405531.

The hedge and trees have grown towards the verge and is a road traffic hazard for vehicles coming out of Church Lane towards Louth.

The Lincolnshire fencing which should have been the boundary line is completely obscured. This fencing was installed by LCC when they bought (through CPO) land to build the refuge and help with visibility.

  • Apparently a council Highways Officer has visited and decided nothing should be done; a conclusion which astouds many of the locals. This lane exit is a potential danger and why anyone should be reluctant to take the necessary steps and cut back the roadside vegetation to the south amazes me.
