Investigating
Road surface sinking
Reported via desktop in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 20:28, Mon 20 September 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 405561.
Road surface sinking as you approach and go round the corner. As it is a blind corner traveling from west to east, if you try to avoid it and a vehicle is then met coming the other way you have to move left and the car lurches. Picture 2 shows the most worrying depression. This has been a problem for a long time, too dangerous a bend to park and take photos so these are stills from my dashcam footage.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because we are planning to carry out patching and surface dressing works in 2022 but we will continue to monitor during our routine highway inspections. Thank you for reporting this matter.
