Unnecessary dangerous road signs
Reported via desktop in the Problem at LCC roadworks category anonymously at 20:21, Tue 21 September 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 405642.
There have been numerous reports made about this location. There are roadsigns warning of roadworks and single file traffic leading up to a sharp blind bend with no warnings coming from the other side. This is extremely dangerous and has personally put me into many uncomfortable situations with other road users coming from the other side. Your last update mentions that these are there in the interim to warn about a "ramp" and road works will be carried out. There have been no road works there for several months. There is no ramp. Either these road signs are removed or I'm putting them in the hedge as this is a hazard.

The ramp appears to be a plastic cover over what I assume to be a sunken/broken drain grating.
Someone had moved some of the signage on to the footpath to ease the traffic flow, however this has now been moved back to the carriageway.
I will raise another request over the diminishing width of the footpath.
