White giveaway lines faded

Reported via iOS in the Road markings faded/missing category by Cllr Alex Hall at 19:55, Wed 22 September 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 405718.

White give way lines to mark the lane have disappeared and there have been near misses on the junction from vehicles coming from Newbridge lane joining Ings lane and not stopping at the junction. This is made worse by not having a Give Way sign on Newbridge lane.

  • This is the incorrect position - the actual issue is the corner of Newbridge/Cold Harbour Lane. The correct position is marked in red on the attached image, the incorrect (as in this report) in black.

  • This situation is gradually getting worse as not only is the white line practically non existent, the road around that area is also breaking up. coming down Newbridge Lane particularly at night it is hard to tell where the junction is and sooner or later there is going to be an accident.
