Obstruction of verge
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction on pavement/verge category anonymously at 12:19, Sat 25 September 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 405892.
At the entrance of Odder Bridge traveler site, Broxholme, footings have been put in place on the grass verge and a wall has started to be built very close to the road, which will inevitably cause a dangerous obstruction to road users. Access down this road is already difficult due to parked cars and near impossible for agricultural vehicles, so a new solid structure placed here will be dangerous for everyone. Can you check whether the proper permissions have been sought to build it and if not, what the council intends to do and when, as action after it is complete will be difficult.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because we have made an agreement with the traveller site that these concrete footings are to be taken back to an agreed distance. Thank you for reporting this matter.
